2002 C230 HEAD GASKET REPLACEMENT, HELP...
Hello All,
I have a 2002 C230 Sportscoupe with 200,000 miles. It has a 2300 Supercharged motor. It is time to replace my weeping head gasket. It leaks to the outside and has not effected the performance at all, however, the coolant consumption has increased. The leak appears to be near the rear of the motor at the #4 cylinder. Here is where I need help. I don't have the manual CD. I have a good posting on how to. I am hoping someone with the manual will, please, email me the .pdf from the CD of the section concerning the R/R of the gasket. Also the head bolt removal/tightening sequence including the torque table for the bolts. Of course I would LOVE to get any advice, experience and tips regarding the procedure.
Thanks In Advance!

When I get home I'll see if I have the other stuff.
I so badly need to do this also, been driving with a leak for 70K miles!
Don't have a place to do the work, and mechanics want like 3 grand!

Hello, I am finally going to do it. I have a Mechanic I trust from other work who will do it for $1200. However, I am feeling pretty confident about doing it myself. I have a garage and reasonably full set of tools. It has been leaking for a couple of years. The coolant consumption increased dramatically last year. I realized the Main bearing in the water pump was shot. changed the pump out and the coolant usage went back to fairly minimal. this summer it began to increase, so... Its time to do the gasket. I just need all the support documents so I can follow along. I'll take anything I can get. I looked at the Cokes article you included, it appears to be the same engine, M111, as mine.

In reply to your request for the factory docs, here's an earlier thread where they are already posted.
