Exhaust work done

Had my friends shop put on a flow master 40 series ...sounds great now. The stock muffler was like the size of a basket ball and about 30 lbs

Haven't been on here in a wile.

What's up? My c230 has come a long way. The 230 is parked in my garage minty fresh, as for it is winter. Bought a b5 a4 as a daily car.

I have always suspected the PO of my car had spilled cola in the back seats, so I decided to look. Removed all the rear seats and I was right it was grossss, cleaned it all up resprayed it and I have the leather seats inside chilling and getting cleaned, ready to be put back in.

Wow, thats getting ....not even sure of the word. OCD ?
But yes, it looks nice! Not something I would do.
I remember one guy who took all the seats out of his sedan and
cleaned everything, carpets etc. looked like new.

This guy in the video is an idiot. The part in question is called a recirculation air flap. But he is correct about the reset procedure at 4:30.
Mostly.
The silencer is in the supercharger plenum. You can search under my username for info on it's removal. Possibly on benzworld.
Can't really say if it generates any more power. I never did a dyno.
Sounds like an F16 on takeoff at WOT though.
Have you invested in a power pulley?
That will get you an instant boost, literally.
Lastly, yes you can remove the metal screen in the MAF, and
even the metal screen below the actual throttle body, downstream from the MAF, but leave the other plastic screen on the MAF it breaks up the air.
There's some good info on this in R170 forum (which uses the same engine)
on benzworld.

Idk where this "silencer" is, people claim they have done it but no one says where exactly it is or what it looks like, if you have any idea LMK cos I took it all apart and saw nothing
