Engine Idle fluctuations with A/C on!
Hey Guys!
So when I'm at a light or whatnot, and the air conditioning's on, the RPM's bounce from 600 to 1,000. Normally, it's steady at 600. I replaced my alternator pulley a year or so ago to combat a potential A/C compressor failure. Is this a compressor thing? Or possibly a loose hose somewhere? Not sure. Would like input if you have any.
Thanks!

Out Of Control!!
You don't have a belt issue----you have issues with the throttle valve actuator which controls the idle speed--when advised by AC\ECU that the compressor was just turned on------get a good scan and watch out for the scammers!!

Thank you Plutoe! So even without an error message, the idle fluctuations w/ the A/C on could be the throttle valve actuator? If so, do you think a thorough cleaning would do the job or needs to be replaced?

Well you can also try that, however if your dash aint lite up---the OBD scanner aint worth S----you need someone who knows the ECU circuit, because all you have know is an unfaulted symptom!!

Now I got one P0238. Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit High. Would I still need a star scan or is this enough info. to find what's wrong?
