Need Help Adjusting Windshield Washer Nozzles
I want to adjust my washer nozzles but am not quite sure how the system works. There seems to be a flat head "set" or "adjusting" screw beside the nozzle but I am not sure what it is for, so I thought I would ask before screwing something up…pardon the pun.
Is this for loosening/tightening the nozzle, allowing for manual adjustment, or does it move the nozzle as you turn it? I started turning the driver's side screw but couldn't tell what effect it was having.

I'm surprised no one weighed in on this one.
Anyhow, our nozzles are not the standard little pin holes that can be adjusted with most any pointed object. The are more like little slits and mine seemed to migrated down to the point where they are hitting partially below the lowest point of the wiper blades.
Anyhow, I turned what appeared to be an adjustment screw counterclockwise and the seemed to aim up just a little more. It was very subtle but hopefully it will have done the trick next time I try it out....of course it may be shooting over the car but at least I will know what to do to home it on proper adjustment.

Mine also too low and takes about 1-2 seconds before it shoots. I think passenger side nozzle leaking air into the hose or something. New set of nozzles and hose about €100.

edit: I got hands on to that original adjustmet tool. It's very easy to adjust with it. Couple of minutes and all done!

Not adjustable
I took mine to the dealer to get them adjusted and the dealer told me that MB changed the design on the C class in 2009 to non-adjustable nozzles. I wonder if we could buy 2008 nozzles and swap them out.

Washers and Wipers stopped working after adjust
I stick a screwdriver in the top slot of all 3 washers and tried to move them, without success. I tried the washers and they had stopped working and so had the wipers. After checking the fuses and searching for a solution on the internet I figured it was going to be a trip to the dealer but next morning everything was working again. Any ideas?

Washers and Wipers don't work if bonnet not closed properly
I found out why my washers and wipers suddenly stopped working...the bonnet was not closed properly. It looked closed but the warning display came on when I drove the car.

Here's a tool for 48 bucks. https://mercedespartscenter.com/part...&siteid=215720
I'll ask the dealer to adjust mine when I'm in for service. If they won't do it for me then I'll add it to the cons list on buying a Mercedes again. If they will, I'll add it to the pros list. It doesn't rain often here but mix some light rain with desert dust kicked up by the wind and you get one cruddy windshield.

I used 2 small flat-blade screwdrivers, one in the bottom and one in the top slot. Tweaked up just slightly and then tested for mid-windshield hit. Pretty easy overall, just need to be very delicate with movements.
