Roof Rack
Anyone interested in a used roof rack? This is a factory Mercedes roof rack. I thought I would use it more.. But I normally use my Subaru whenever I go mountain biking. I will sell it for $225.00 obo. There aren't any problems with the rack and has been used very little. Please let me know if you have any questions. I will split shipping within the US.

I'm a mountain biker and skier/snowboarder. I usually drive my Subaru Tribeca when I go do any of these activities. But am intrigued by this. Not sure what the wife will think when I bring this home. =/

I would be interested if it had round bars.
I have a Yakima roof rack from a previous car that has two fork mount bike carriers on it. But they only work with round bars.
Do you have a picture of how they attach to the roof? I would be interested to see what the mount points look like.

The install is pretty easy. A one man job. Slot A into Slot B. You can use Yakima and Thule racks. I used an adapter for the wider cross bar. One more thing about the MB rack... is that it doesn't actually touch the top of your car. It floats about 1/4 inch above the cars paint. No marking or rub marks from foot pads.

Yes, the rack just hovers over the top of the car. It doesn't ever touch the paint. I think they did a good job of designing the rack. Let me know if you have any questions.
