Rear Fender
Need some advice on how to go about my fender situation .
I clipped a curb a while back, and my right rear fender now has a lovely dent + needs to be aligned/painted (I'll get a picture of it up). My MB dealer wants to me to shell out over $1000 to replace it, which aint happening.
I've been trying to find fender replacements, but everything I've come across isn't for the rear fenders. Should I go to other shops and bug them to heat it up/paint? Do a quick band aid fix with flares?
I'm just starting to mod my car, but can't bring myself to do it with that dent staring at me. Please and thank you.

Where are you located?
I would try a body shop first, preferably one that I know or am referenced too. I remember I got a dent in my ML so I heated up the bumper with a hair dryer, got the bump out; then got some touch up paint from a friends body shop to get the matching paint color & bang! dent is all gone. I'm not sure if the same can be done with W204

Looking at those pics I would say your bumper is the easy part. The metal parts are going to need some hammering. I just had my front bumper repaired after a bit of a scrape and with a full respray only cost $300.

Its hard to tell, but are you missing paint? PDR can't fix that. The dent should be easy enough. Place around me are like $100 a panel. Most of the rest should buff off, but scapes and removed paint might need a respray to look perfect.

First, there is no way a rear quarter panel(fender) is being replaced for $1000....it's way more than that. But, the rear fender does not need to be replaced, just some metal work and paint. It's not a paintless dent removal type of dent. It's more than $300 and leads than $1000...IMHO. To fix the dent and spray rear quarter and rear bumper it'll be $750 ish.

I'll be asking around with the information you've been given me. Thanks for the advice guys

They should be able to hammer that out and respray for a lot less than $1k, doesn't look that bad. And I agree with the guy above, there is no way they would replace the quarter panel for only $1k...if they are charging that then that's a good deal because the entire piece would need to be removed, all the way up along the roof. Good luck.

Expect to pay anywhere from $400-$800 for that type of job. Like others have said, you could replace it but the rear "quarter panel" would need to be cut out if you were replace it and weld on a new one. They should be able to straighten it out and respray the whole quarter panel leading to the roof and to the windshield.
I had my rear fender lip fixed of bacon fenders and widened plus the rear bumper widened a bit as well to fit some aggressive wheels. Total was $1,900 because of the custom work for widening the fenders and getting the rear bumper together to align. Don't expect to pay half that though for just one side since yours just needs fixing.
Hopefully that helps. Good luck.
