It was having to change the mufflers. I don't want any kind of loud exhaust and if I buy 2 c300 mufflers plus heat shields and installation it is going to be way too expensive. So back to the drawing board.

Have you checked around at your local junk yards? You may be able to find a totaled c300 or c63 and get the factory exhaust off that for a good price

I found a c300 exhaust but was not sure that the c300 exhaust would fit a c250 ... are the mufflers all the same?

u can have local muffler shop do the welding...
will fit W204 as long as u have C63 diffuser...
