Knock / grind when reversing
Hello,
In the last week or 10 days, I've been noticing an intermittent knock or grind for about a second while reversing slowly, and I'm wondering if anyone would have any experience with this. My vehicle is a 2008 C350 4MATIC - I changed the front discs and pads about a month and a half ago, I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Other than that, it runs and stops smoothly.
Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your responses - it doesn't seem to matter whether I'm reversing straight or while turning and I've only noticed it when I don't press on the gas. Normally, I'll put the car in reverse and it'll start to slowly reverse without any gas. Last night, I was reversing out of a parking spot and about 2 seconds after the car started to move, it just stopped on its own, as if I pressed the brakes. I waited a few seconds to see if it would start moving again, but it's as if the brakes were applied. I had to give it some gas to get it moving again.
