W204 - LED Tail light (please help noob)
Hello,
I joined the forum long time ago, but was not involved with the vehicle because my wife strictly did not want anything done to the W204.
Last week the vehicle was rear ended (lightly) and need to buy new set of tail lights. She really likes the LED taillight style on the 2012-2014? model, the facelift version as I searched on the forum.
If I buy the 2012-2014 LED Taillight version, will it fit on my vehicle? I also saw a post mentioning about reprogramming at the dealership...
Please help! I searched the forum but there are so many topics about facelift taillights and cannot determine who is correct and if it is true
Thank you!

Thank you for the feedback I will look for local shop that can reprogram it. I am in no situation to ship the assembly at the moment. What do I have to mention to the shop to get this done?

I'll look for the doc that had the setting and upload it and bring it to them and tell them to enable it the same way.
Maybe you can post where your from and someone can help you that has STAR

You can try the depo tail lights as well from the UniqueStyleRacing website. They're a pretty good quality and very very similar to the OEM one from what I've read

They work and look great, with no problems so far. I opted for the ones with the red LED turn signals like my car had originally, but the same seller also has them with amber turn signals for slightly more money.
