1.buy quad tips
2.buy diffuser
3.install diffuser yourself
4.unscrew the old tips
5.go to any muffler shop
6.pay them 75$ to weld them on
7.done

on a scale of 1-10
its a 1 lol

the diffuser is the only struggle if you do it alone if you have a helper it should be done in 15-25 minutes

The hardest (and potentially costliest) is going to be sourcing quality tips. The Chinese-made ones on eBay are prone to rust after short amount of time. The ones I have cost me $400 (German-made by Piecha).

I've had Chinese quad tips on for for 4 years. Parked outside and no rust. Could use a nice polish, but no rust.

yea ive seen a post before on a thread saying that you can clamp on the tips, but almost everybody says it requires a flush cut from old tips on muffler then welding ln the new tips. can i get confirmation on this?

you can use a torq x and un screw the old tips or just have them cut them off and potentially damage the OEM tips if they fall on the ground.

I sold my OEM ones for $60, which i was more than happy to take after the ones i bought were $400.
