Hi, could anyone here that has gone through this enlighten us, as what are the official milestones that need occur when placing your order for a new build. I hear countless stories where customers fear their dealer has given there car to someone else and consequently they have had to wait longer, I think these apprehensions can be put to rest if there are some official markers, like:

1. You call in put an order with your dealer. Milestone: Dealer gets DCN#
2. Your order goes in queue. Milestone: Priority# assigned (indicating your number in line)
3. With your priority number becoming current, Alabama factory starts building your vehicle. Milestone: VIN# assigned
etc. etc?
