Secondary Air Pump -- Location?

Did a search, didn't find the info I was looking for. Does anyone know exactly where the secondary air pump is on the C55? Could you post a picture, maybe instructions on how to remove?

My pump is dead and I regulary get the the P0410 CEL, malfunction code. I was thinking of removing the pump and finding someone with a STAR system to deactivate the CEL, or removing the pump and sending it to this guy on ebay who will rebuild it in 2 days for $95 bucks, guaranteed for 12 months. See seller "rostykf", "Mercedes Benz secondary air pump repair R230 w220 w215 w211 w:AMG". He rebuilds secondary air pump part no. 000 140 42 85, the part no. of the C55 air pump.

Thoughts? Help?

eclectic assortment of cars
You can't miss it, it's a huge lump of metal and plastic right at the front of the engine, underneath the more forward of the engine covers.

This is a pic from my C43, but you get the idea - same engine family and all:

Ok. I removed the secondary air pump (it's extremely easy, 3 tork bolts) and had it rebuilt by the guy on ebay. Very professional, quick turn around and the pump seems to be working just fine (he noted that the bushes had been burned). Along the way I learned that you have to replace your relay and 40a fuse in addition to the s.a.p. In my case and in most cases, I am told, the s.a.p. burns out because the relay goes bad and keeps the s.a.p. on until it's fried. The relay is about $25 bucks from the dealer and can be replaced in 5 seconds, being located in the fuse box in on the driver's side of the engine bay (Bay "O" -- Air pump relay "N10/1kO") next to the ecu. The 40a fuse is there as well and is the only oversized 40a fuse (#65) -- the other two are regular automotive, spade type auto fuses.

Search "rostykf" and/or "Mercedes Benz secondary air pump repair R230 w220 w215 w211 w:AMG" on ebay. My transaction was no. 261096562677 or http://www.ebay.com/itm/261096562677...84.m1439.l2649

To be safe, if your vehicle has 60k miles or more and your s.a.p. is still good, spend $25 bucks and replace the relay. Apparently, it's been redesigned because of excessive failure.
