FT: Brembo 355 front SLK 340 rear. WTB:stock brakes
looking to down grade them back to stock brakes since i no longer feel like i need these brakes for what i use the car for plus the fact that i might move away for a year leave the car running with family members. easier for them to keep it in check.
i'm looking for $1850 (negotiable) plus your stock brakes for front and rear (stainless brake line not included). if you are local (if you have hook ups or i can use my mechanic for labor). if you are not local you will need to send me your stock (32/55 brakes) brakes first. feel free to throw some offer my way.
they are red with white lettering.
fronts are Brembo 355mm 4-piston with stoptech slotted rotors and hawks ceramic pads
rears are AMG/Brembo 340mm (or 345...forgot) 4-piston with slk55 slotted and drilled rotors.
conditions: both front and rear are in great shape. they have around at least 70-75% pads give or take. don't ask me how many miles because I honestly don't remember.

i believe the rears are 330 cuz the slk55 fronts are 340 as I am running 2.5 mm spacers to allow them to fit my oem 345mm C55 rotors up front

Very tempting and I am in Socal as well.
Interested, but I honestly can't spend that much at this time.
Whats the minimum wheel size to fit over the front brakes? IE: would a stock C55 wheel fit?

well, it looks like i'm gonna be abroad for a year at the end of the year, so might as well get rid of them and get some cash i can use. i'm also debating if i should sell the LMs or not.

Years ago I had my dad drive my car for about a year/year and a half while I was away. You can imagine an older 50's year old man driving around in a highly modded sport compact (back when the SC scene was big). Keep it all on there! You'll want it when you get back Unless you're planning on completely giving the car away and won't be driving it when you get back. Then yes, dismantle (which I also did on my SC) and take the cash.

stock brakes will do even when i get back. now i'm more about "how do i drive to avg better mpg" lol
btw, if someone doesn't want the whole setup...I'm open to get rid of them separately. i'd imagine the fronts people would have more interest.

i was thinking about possibly swapping those for my slk55 340mm 6pot fronts. Those 15mm go a long way, plus a lot more options in rotors and pads. What did those front rotors run you btw?
