'P0135' Problem with sportcat´s?
Anybody might wanna look at this simple mod.
Upstream sonds doesn´t get as much heat as std with headers, freeflowing exhaust and 100cell cat´s.
After a little measuring and fiddeling i ´ve come up to this:
1 resistor 2.2ohm 25w in series on one of the white cables to the sond(doesn´t matter which one)
Only on upstream sonds, downstream should have 'spacers' with catalytic core inside.
Now all is good, no CEL.
This simple mod tricks the ecu to think expected resistance is correct in the sonds.
Std the function is an PWM controlled heater that measures resistance in the sond and calculates the heat from this.

Sorry this is way too technical for me and I dont understand.
The code is for an O2 sensor (po135) if you have 100 cel primary cats you get this code? and this little thing attached to where tricks the thing to not throw a code?
Please explain more or someone who understands this please post as this is good stuff.

Its a resistor. All it does is restrict electrical current. he found the proper value to plug in so that your cars CEL doesnt get upset. This will probably save you money instead of buying a tune.

basically, you would take the white wire, snip it, and solder the "little thing" in between the snip spot.

OP can you please post a pic of the mod installed to the upstream sonds (?)
Brilliant stuff BTW. So basically with this mod, I can get some 100cel primaries and not worry about tracking down a developer mode (STAR) to remove the cel.
Happydays,

Oh,, i don´t have any pic.
but it´s way easy, just snip one of the white wires and put a resistor in serie.
But!
This must be tested, the values might not work on your exact setup.
