Choosing between C55 and E55

Hi guys, just joined the forums a couple days ago and really like them so far. I was initially going to buy a E55 but the other owners advised against buying that specific one so I've been looking around and found the C55. I've been a car enthusiast since I was a kid and I've NEVER known about the C55. I'm 18 if anyone is wondering. I knew they had a c32 but not the c55. So I found a 2005 c55 with 108k for 8500. He just changed the water pump, abs module and the esp module also the regular maintenance items so it seems like it's been maintained it's black and looks very clean from pictures.
My main question is do you think it's worth it over an E55? And would you guys rather save up a little more and get the e55 you want or just go with the much cheaper c55? Do you guys get tired of the car and ever want to trade up for something bigger/better?

Common maintenance items?
I really couldn't find a list of things that go wrong but I'm sure you guys can give a quick list.

Does this car have airmatic?
Dynamic seats? Ventilated seats? The seats are very important to me since I live in California and would love the ventilated and dynamic seats for the canyoning days.

Hope for some good replies!
Thanks
Sean.

none... for now
This was discussed, thoroughly, a couple times recently(and over the years).

That being said, what year E55. You're buying a used Euro car. Buy in is easy due to depreciation(and at 1st glance, that sounds like a great price) it's upkeep that can kill you, especially at 18.

It has none of those seat options nor does it have airmatic. There is a thread as mentioned above spending 3 pages discussing exactly C55 vs E55. Lots of good info. I would take an E55 but as you have seen the costs of ownership are much higher. C55 has far fewer things to go wrong but any Mercedes will cost $$ when it does.

E55 is a lot more expensive to maintain especially since it has a supercharger airmatic sbc.

2005 c55
I really wanted a 2004+ E55 but settled on a 2005 C55. The C55 was about $6K less than what I could find an E55 for and I did much research as much more expensive to keep up-to-date as I am very happy with my choice.

At 18 you can possibly afford to run and maintain a C55... it's pretty bulletproof.
