Video sound of supercharger chirp
I read up on all the posts here on the supercharger noises and but have not heard any video/audio of something like the noise my c32 is making. I assume it's the pulley bearing but anyone else experience this same situation???? There's no power loss and no (noticeable) chirping or grinding sound when idle or casually driving. It only comes up when I hit the gas pedal around 1/3 or more and aggressively accelerate.

think i've sorted this out thanks to the E55 forum. its the supercharger clutch that is chirping.

the E55 guys have a bunch of write ups on it. some have applied a lubricant to the SC clutch that temporarily alleviates the chirping sound which i may try to do.
biggest concern i have is if the chirping is a pre-cursor to the supercharger clutch locking up or failing and at 13 years old with my c32 there probably are very few places to get replacement SC clutch pack parts so trying to mitigate this as much as possible. although some on the E55 boards comment that its just noise and not a long term mechanical issue but i'm not sure i want to take that chance.
i'll report back after trying this lubricant trick here and see if that helps.
