This is why you do not postpone a belt wrap kit
The pulley exploded while also shaving the idler rod. Looks like the rod is connected to the water pump but I am not sure. Can someone help me identify if that is true or is the part separate from the WP?

If I remember correctly, its built into the water pump

Thank you for the reply. That is what I was thinking, Im thrown off by the genuine MB part picture which doesn't show a clear image of the WP.
