C230 to C55
I have a 2006 C230 that I really like, its the longest I've ever held onto a vehicle. The car just suits me, the ride and handling, the feel of the interior, the size of the car, the four doors and the way I feel when I drive it. The one thing was I always think "I wish it was a bit faster." I investigated Mod's and nothing seemed worth the cost. So I just kept trucking. Then I stumbled onto a C55 locally (really I wasn't looking). I went for a test drive and BAM, my car but faster, um WAAAAYYYY faster. So tomorrow I'm picking it up.

First thing is to figure out the exact color of Black it is, LOL The dealer wasn't any help. I'm sure somewhere around here I can find the paint codes.
I gave them my owners manuals for my C230 I'm thinking I should have kept them. I can't remember how to program the garage door opener.

Diamond Black Metallic, Ash interior. Got the garage door opener programmed, got the CD cartridge unstuck (still trying to get it to play). Have to get a better detail job done, the dealer did a crap job. Love the engine sound, the heavy steering will take some getting used to. More bells and whistle that I am finding compared to my C230. Happy camper right now.

Got the CD changer to play. Just basically played with the insides of it, a couple of little wires and struts seemed to be off. Checking into the Android Nav unit.

I have this one http://www.seicane.com/1024-600-andr...ink-obd2-k7508 . Be advised though, find out if your car runs on fiber optics. I thing there is some converter for it. I think you can get them cheaper on eBay, but the people from this site are very helpful and even sent me an update recently.
Do you have the Harman Kardon system?

I had one, but when I bought the nav I had to convert the digital to analog. The Harman Kardon amp had to be switched out. I ended getting a more powerful/customizable amp, then bought better speakers and a box for the trunk. I'm very proud/satisfied with my system.

Going through the growing pains of finding out all the little things wrong with the car. Some normal stuff from what i gather from this site. Headlight blinking off issue, readjusting the headlights. Then stuff that needs replacing/ repaired. Tail light bulb, rear seal, slightly bent rim, vent adjuster, headlight assembly bolt. You know stuff to get a used car up to snuff. I forget not everyone takes car of their stuff like they should.

Got the rear seal fixed, the mechanic said it looked like someone had gone in and tried to fix it but quit and put it back together before they were done.
