Lightbulb Central Locking Pump

When i replaced the central locking pump yesterday from CLK55 #: "208 800 13 48",

auto locking operate after 40km, i don't have that option on previous pump, is that an optional or it has to be a part of the pump..??

Mine locks automatically at around the speed you mention (never checked the exact speed though). My other w202 also auto locks too, so I guess yours was faulty.

Just checked, mine close at 20kph. If you drive very fast over a speed bumb, the self lock will disengage automatically giving access to the doors from the outside in case of a crash.
