C43 headlight question
So I thought I had a headlight out turned them off then on again and it went on so maybe the bulbs on it last legs or maybe the ballast (hope not) is there signs of a fading ballast? And if it is just the bulb could I upgrade to a brighter bulb that's not blue?
Thanks in advance!!!

If you talk of ballast, I assume then that you have xenons. If so, do both bulbs not turn on from time to time or only one?
I had the same problem on one bulb for several months until it finally gave up the ghost and blew. Changed both to new Osram Cool Intense and now driving at night is great and better than before. A bit expensive for 2 new bulbs but worth it to change at the same time as you can be sure that the older bulb will also blow soon after

you can do a little test by swapping the bulbs and see if the problem moves to the other side; this way you'd know it's the bulb
it's not 100% accurate specially if both bulbs are on their way out, but it's an easy test...
