That's good sign, it tells no leaks in small hoses, but surely something wrong/broken inside the manifold..!

Ebay seller is going to send me a replacement, hope it's good.

Zayed, I need a door control unit right side. Part number says 2108203426 and has a sticker that says K6. EBay sells them for like $90.00, the K5 same part number go from 29 to 50 dollars. do you know what's the difference between K5 and K6?

Thanks.

As i remember; K1/2/3 according to the early version of Temic/OPC coding, but K4/5/6 for latest version of Temic/VDO data/AKA,

i don't think they got any differ of coding, but can't assure that, didn't try it before..

Thank you, my driver side door has the K1 and I have no issues with it. You think I will be OK using another K1 or K5 for the passenger side?

AnyTime,

Why that module goes bad.?, did you diagnose the car..??,

honestly; not that sure what exactly K#s related, but i don't think they are different, cause they not send any OPC signal to the ECU/data..!

if anyone got more info., it will be great...

ZAYED,,
Window and side mirrors will not work. To temporarily fix I have to turn let on, than go to trunk fuses and pull out fuse #3. Than install it again and everything starts to work? Very weird.
Window and side mirrors will work for about a day or 2 than they stop and I have to pull out and install fuse again....

Haven't done a diagnostic but I can't see anything else being the problem. Ideas?

Don't think this module goes bad,

did you try to disconnect the battery for about an hour..?, this may help, or comfort relay not functioning properly..?!

No problem bro.,

There are 2 comforts,

*comfort module:-

Zayed And Others..-2028200926.jpg

*comfort relay, some W202 doesn't has this one:-

Zayed And Others..-0015427819.jpg

these comforts could cause some bad issues to windows/door switches/airbag sensors.

ZAYED,,
wait, I'm confused... I took out the relay by the trunk and it says comfort control relay. Am I looking at the wrong part? I thought it would be somewhere by the hood?? Haven't driven the car for the last 3 weeks.

PS: car still starts no problem when cold so now I'm pretty sure it only happens when it's hot...just have to let it cool down

Comfort relay is another thing,

hot starting issue usually caused from bad CPS/bad MAF/bad battery cables/bad injector harness..

Speed43-were you able to fix your starting issue? Reason I asked is because I started the car today just to,warm it up but after a few minutes, the car died on me. I just changed the fuel pump and fuel filter 3 weeks ago

Not 100% it will turn on and stay on most of the time. But once in a while it turns right off. Your problem is different from mine because yours takes a while to turn off. Mine does it as soon as it turns on.

Chance the relay that's in the trunk left top side of the battery. If it helps great, if not at least you won't have any issues with that relay. My went bad a few years and kept the fuel pump pumping and drained my battery for 3 night till I found the problem. It also helped keep my car stay running once I start it. Give it a try...

Great now my car won't start.

Yesterday i went to the store and came out 30 minutes later and the car didn't start. Killed the battery and got a jump than tried again. Finally I replace the fuel pump relay and car started right up. Today it started and than when I drove about 10 minutes I park went to turn on and again it won't start. I press the fuel release nipple thingy and no fuel at all. Installed another relay and replaced the number one fuse in the trunk and nothing. Relay is ticking when ignition is turning. But I don't here a sound coming from the fuel pump.

Pump went bad? Just replaced it less than two months ago. Anyone want to buy a so called reliable c43? Just kidding, I like my car very much but man it's always one thing or another. My brother and a friend of mine calls my car Christine!

Some chick that is trying to jump my bones swears to God that my car is unreliable and I'm like, UH... huh? wtf... I can't think of anything to make her say that but she's just got it in her head, so I'm holding the D back until she changes her attitude cause if it's between her or the car, I'm gonna be cruising in the Benz all day longgggggg.

That's the one yes.

Btw, I tapped on the fuel pump and the car started right up and I got home. When home I tried starting it and it will not start till I tap the car with a screwdriver.

Going to buy the oem pump.

then why is the dealer giving a different location? dealer gave me a diagram that was in the engine compartment by the fuse...

Anyway, I'm gonna be buying this relay tomorrow first before I buy the cps... See what happens...
