New one-owner C43 AMG
Well, am I excited. Long story short here it goes for a first post.
I went to a catholic grammar school in a wealthy part of Silicon Valley, CA. One of the teachers was a sweatheart grandma, who has since retired. Her husband, an engineer, had several sweet cars. The highlight of his collection being some badass hotrod (never liked those things). Though i always saw him driving this immaculate C43 AMG, and had no idea what it was at the time.
Im 25 now and he has since passed away. My parents are divorced and my dad lived near him. The wife hated the cars and sold them, and my dad ended up buying the C43 and the other newer E550. He doesn't drive the C43 and wants a truck, and after selling my 2005 S4, I find myself carless. SO, I am driving up to get the AMG tomorrow, and will be back Thursday/Friday to Los Angeles.
Details to come with pictures on Friday...BUT picture an immaculate silver exterior with black interior flawless C43...119k miles dealer serviced and babied its life from the one-owner.
I'll likely drive it till I sell it, but really looking forward to enjoying this classic while I can.
Any recommendations to shops in the West Los Angeles Area? I am thinking Jeffs MBZ, as I've had colleagues go there. It doesn't need a thing, but still good to know just in case!

Whoa! Lotta West LA peeps here! I grew up on Veteran in between Pico and Olympic. My father still lives in the same house for 45+ years. There is an independent Mercedes repair joint on Sepulveda, just north of Olympic on the east side of the street. I think it's called 'Star Mercedes' or it used to be. Never been there personally, but it's been there for decades.
Who else lives in/near the westside on here? My C43 is with me in Missouri, but I travel back to the westside as often as possible.

why sell it? you're 25 and will live a very long time. if you can keep it in decent shape and keep the rust off, you'll probably get a big return off the car in 25 (its already 15 years old) years or worse case in 40 years (it'd bee 55 years old by then and worthy of a nice price tag)... just in time for retirement....

Don't get me wrong this is a sweet car, but It is not the type of car I want right now...nor do I have the space to store this for 25 years. Check it out!!

Though I have always liked the 2003+ E55 AMG. My friend named Johncy had one (since blew the engine), and that thing was a BEAST! I could easily afford one now, but have no idea what the maintenance is like on those...

On a serious note; I have a cash offer for $7,500 someone already checked it out. Thoughts??

I might be wrong, but 7500 feels low to me. One owner, relatively low miles (to me, 119k is not much at all on a true Mercedes) C43's are nearly impossible to find.
Once again, i could be wrong.

Yeah, look how much c124 300ce or E320 coupes sell for, or even the convertibles. There's literally nothing special about them other than the fact that they sold very few of them compared to the w124 sedan. They made 133,650 coupes and 6,343 convertibles. That's twice as many convertible C124's as C43's.
