1995 C36 AMG NooB! Exhaust clamp question!

New to the forum. Picked up a 1995 C36 AMG with 227k kms. Car is a blast to drive & pulls like a train! It does need attention to the suspension (ball joints, drag link, bearings) but i'll be taking car of it. Price was right and decided that it would make a nice winter beater while the summer toys are stored.

Seems like i'm missing the clamp securing the rear exhaust (tube, muffler and tailpile assembly) to the front part.

Trying to find a PN or a replacement.

Thanks!

You can get one at a local muffler shop. Dont get the u shaped one, they dont hold...

Ill have to check. I got one at a shop that removed my resonator but its the u shaped. It doesnt hold. My muffler gets loose and it starts rubbing against the body.

Ill check because i wanna go back and get something that works better. Possibly get some exhaust mods done

All good, the one pictured is same as original...as you describe it does need to be pretty tight to stop twisting etc.
