X pipe vs hollow cat
Hey guys, I have started to develop a rattle on my secondaries, and now have the option of doing an X pipe or hollowing my secondary cats.
Being a CA resident, I like the look of having the cats there, and having them hollow. However, I heard an x pipe sounds better. I've heard sound clips of resonator delete + secondary delete (assume it is using a welded 2.5" pipe), but I've never heard any clips of a cat hollowed and welded back.
Would like input on which option I should choose
1. Cat hollowed out and welded back
2. X-pipe installed
*resonator already deleted
Thanks1

If your resonator is already removed, how did you merge the two? Our exhaust would need a y-pipe to merge both into one, not an x like the 210 E55 which is a dual to the muffler. I say, hollow out the secondaries in addition to the deleted resonator.
Which leads me to this next question; will the 210 E55 exhaust work on a C43? From the primaries back, would it flow better? The exhaust notes on mine sound similar, but for some reason, I'm more partial to the E's.
C43: Y-pipe
E55: X-pipe

The engine size also contributes to the sound. After a 5.4 swap although its hard to tell, i have to admit that my car is a little more quiet
