C43 AMG
New C43 Owner here
What's up guys!
I got my C43 a while back (stumbled upon it on CL ) but totally forgot to sign up here!
Here's some pics of it Its a 1998 C43 AMG, in Silver.
Gonna keep it stock, So don't hate me haha Only thing I plan to do is get some exhaust cut outs. Which I may need some help with. (leaning towards QTPs)
Ill be back from time to time, just doing standard regular maintenance.
Also any of you plan on being at Legends of the Autobahn in August!?

Welcome aboard! Just shoot if you have any questions, but recommend as said get the suspension lowered to euro norms.

Leave it stock, looks very clean! but as everyone else said, euro springs and Bilstein sport shocks are a must.

agreed with everyone above,
i think you will find most members here prefer the stock look. with the exceptions being the euro springs and secondary cat and or resonator delete. other than that dont mess with it much

Go with Voghtland springs and Bilstein SPORTS..I have one finger gap approx. from fender to top of tire.Handling improved..zero body roll and rides IMHO BETTER THAN STOCK.

does anyone know what spring pads came stock on NA C43s? to keep a nice ride without being too stiff im wondering how much lower he can get just in going to thinner spring pads?
when i swap the shocks on my C43 im going to try to add about 5-10mm in ride height by going to thicker pads for a bit more ground clearance since i will be driving my car in the winter. i have the euro springs now and its about 2 finger gap in rear and one in front.
