Advice Needed Please!
Hi everyone. Does anyone have any advice on how to remove the two Torx head bolts that hold the timing chain sprockets to the camshafts? I've tried heating up the bolts but I can't get them to break. I'm using an open end 27mm wrench to hold the sprocket but these bolts are giving me more trouble than the harmonic balancer bolt. Thx

Don't know, but suddenly I'm thinking could the bolt be a reverse thread? Do you need some blocking tool(s) on the camshaft sprocket?
Guess you need some specialist advice to be sure to avoid damage...

Thanks guys but, I need to know for certain as I can't risk stripping one of these bolts. Hopefully someone that has removed the cams can chime in.

D.,
I went to my friends garage, open that (E14) >>(E18) screw, (Depend of your Engine spec.)
""open>>anti clockwise""
"closed>> clockwise""
it's soo hard to open it, heating it up , then open it easily..!
