Curious anyone having over 200k miles or close to it.
Also, what major services should be done over 200k?

Mine is reaching 278k km, but don't know what that is in miles....
OK just checked and that's around 173k miles, so not that far from the 200k range you are talking about.
Our ladies are getting on in age, so apart from regular services (oil and filter changes) and a good check at the same time minimum once a year, the small problems are fixed asap and after they occur. Keep up with things and your 43 should keep you happy.
OK I'm sure others will be along shortly, so stay tuned...

I'd like to buy one, always wanted one.
Vlad-NJ's for sale one is very nice, but out of how much I'd like to spend. Seems like market value ranges from $4k-$12k, regardless of miles and more importance on up-keep and records.

my 1999 is at 193k, so shes pretty close. I just did the motor and trans mounts and all 4 struts (That was more because I wanted to than I had to). Shes solid as hell but Im doing a 55+s/c swap soon because I can. Probably putting the 43 motor into a w140 thats for sale for cheap near me.

Guess it's a given I'm gonna chime in on this one.
Yes, both my C43's had over 200k when I bought them. First one had 238k (now has 298k). Second one had 204k and sold it at 219k.
Absolutely zero regrets about either car. As long as they are mostly rust-free and at least maintained on some level, they're fine. They've aged a lot better than any other 90's MB I've ever seen (and I've owned 6).
The mechanicals are absolutely bullet-proof. The engines being hand-made aren't just for marketing purposes. They're far better balanced and pile on the miles better due to the smooth operation. If someone's changed the oil with good oil less than every 30k miles you're probably never going to see an engine failure. Try to even find a C43 with a dead engine and you're looking at an extreme outlier.
Anyway I loved my first one so much I still have it. Wife totalled it at 250k miles and the insurance company paid me way more than I bought the car for. I elected to buy the car back and restore it instead of letting it go: how often do you have such an amazingly well built, rare, attractive, and fun car with so many miles? Even the interior was in great shape.
Sold my wife's C43 because she got a new SUV and her gorgeous black one was just rotting away in the garage while mine baked in the sun. Plus, i used the proceeds from the sale to put an E55 engine in my first one. Now it's the car MB should have built... Absolutely jaw-dropping amounts of fun.
