I much rather prefer having some amber in the headlights versus what they did with the W204 - slapping huge, chunky ugly reflectors on the flared front fenders!
Personally, I don't think the aftermarket M3/M4 color matched reflectors look good either, it still sticks out visually and looks like a cover up.

Awesome, not too long to go now so we can all see what the initial C205 C63 is all about
Love the pic of the gauge cluster with speedo at 300km/h.

It's difficult to conclusively judge but the front flares do look more pronounced than those of the garden-variety coupe as seen in earlier spy shots. That bodes well for some C63C-only flares in the rear.

Yes that's what we're all hoping for
Those track shots above clearly show wider rear arches - fingers crossed.

"Mercedes-Benz will offer the 362-hp C450 AMG starting at the end of summer 2016, powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6. The big bopper, of course, will be the Mercedes-AMG C63 that arrives concurrently with the C450."
End of summer, IMO, is September but given the recent delay with the sedan, it might be more like November. Perhaps they learned from the recent issues but the coupe, like the sedan, is a first year model also. We'll see if they hit that target date.

That's like telling Apple not to release the iPhone 7 until every single bug has been ironed out.
First MY cars always have growing pains, it's part of the reason I passed on the 2015 sedan I test drove. I was about to place an order for a '16, but then the Coupe countdown started... It can't come sooner IMO!

Don't expect the C63s coupe around for a while. I would say at least one year after the regular coupe shows up in showrooms.

I'm just tired of waiting for it. I really wanted the 2015 but delay after delay and then not everything was available (black wheels) so I opted for the MY2016. Build date is Aug 14 so I've got about 30 days or so before it gets here.

In my case for all my own reasons I'm more than happy to wait
I buy all my cars outright and own them for long term, so always aim for late production runs of any model of vehicle I really like, others who lease or short term ownership or must have it straight away or can't wait or whatever their reasons then go for it, it's all a case of each to their own
I hope so my very secretive good friend, you never give anything away LOL
