Are these only for RHD cars? This is the price that ours in the US should be!

2013 AMG C63 Coupe 507
My experience:

This is what I took off:

Stock 507 C63

What I replaced those high flowing worms with

Australian DPE equal length headers with true merge collectors, ceramic coated.

IPE and full twin 3" exhaust made 15rwhp and more noise than anyone could tolerate.

DPE with stock OEM exhaust from 2nd muffler back and cat delete made 25rwhp plus is as quiet as STOCK at normal driving, but loud under throttle. No brainer

Yes, as above, that was the old oil cooler. I upgraded to the Black Series cooler which comes as AMG Package 440 which includes everything needed. A must if you do track days or car gets hot and goes into limp mode

what are guys in California doing about this? i have heard the "install headers after smog" but assuming youre going to keep the car long-term, the issue will arise again at a later date

thank you!

I can get the MBH Long tubes and Mid pipes
http://www.mbhmotorsports.com/#!c63-...-headers/c1k4a

Or the American Racing Headers?
http://eurocharged.ca/products/merce...headers-detail

Or MHP Headers (cost $1000 more than the 2 above)

What do you guys recommend?

Here in the UK we have an annual examination called the MOT which the car will fail if it has its catalytic converters removed, so retaining them is essential to passing the test.

I'm looking at various exhausts trying to work out which of them delete the cats and which keep them ?
I read though this entire thread for an answer to this question, but maybe missed it. Which headers will bolt up to the stock cats?

I would like to keep the C63 for a few years, and that means a few emissions tests. I also like the current exhaust note, but would like it a little louder (hence my plan to remove secondary cats).

no long tube headers will let you keep the primary's in there stock location at all..you can still run the secondary cats though.

I assumed that the short length would work with stock primary cats, but what about mid-length?

Don't disturb him. He's invoked the spirits and is communicating with the past.
