Small signs of rust on INSIDE of exhaust anyone?
Anyone get rust on the inside of where the chrome tip meets the exhaust tubing? I washed the car and noticed this the next few days. Is this normal over a SHORT time or should I get a re-weld?
TIA

I always try and keep my as clean as possible because i know that if you let things settle and build up it is much harder to remove so basically whenever I remember (which is pretty often) I wipe down my tips so no build up can start to form. Good luck trying remove the rust though!

Yep... mine are brining (is that even a real word..) in salt right now, should be nice and tasty by summer time
ps, rust on exhausts are common, its why they use stainless tips. What your seeing is surface rust. Take a wire brush, and just brush it away. Unless you have an all stainless steel exhaust system from the manifolds down to the tips, your going to get rust, nothing you can do about it.
