greetings all.

i have finally decided to trade my cayman s for a c63 (need a back seat). thanks to everyone here for helping me make that decision.

now, i just need to make a deal. i have read that some are now getting up to 10% of msrp for ordered car. anywhere in the northeast offering such a deal?

nicely equipped 2010 with 7k at flagship in boston, but asking 59k, seems way too high (MSRP 69k)

any suggestions would be appreciated!

peace, michael

Welcome to MBWorld!

Don't know of any deals, sorry. But i agree that price is a bit high for a used 2010. I'm sure you can haggle the salesman to lower the price a bit more. Good luck.

EDIT: Sorry I just reread your post and the car is in Lynnfield, I'm going to their Sommerville store--GL

welcome,

They should discount it more than $10k.
Probably could have got $15k off when new as there was trunk money last year on leftover 2010s--so used with 7k miles, I'd think lower 50s for that car is doable--who knows what the dealer is in it for, gotta ask I guess.

As for ordering, the 2011 C63 can no longer be ordered and when the 2012 facelift is available to order, I would be surprised to see anything more than 5% off an ordered one.

I'm actually going to be at that dealer on Thursday for my LSD service (they are the only AMG Performance Center in New England), I can check it out if you want--not sure if you're in NE or not.

Either way, it's a great car, a lot different than the cayman S, much rawer and powerful.
The cayman S is a great car though, probably the best handling car I ever drove and I always liked the looks of the cayman--anyway, I hope this was helpful

Also, rcbenz's car ^^^looks good and a great price if it has the equip you want!
