I hear there is nitrous and methanol involved. That info comes from an old Renntech employee., so don't murder the messenger. Regardless of any power adders, thats one fast car.

I will happily place a 20k wager on the fact that the car ran the 10.27 tonight without nitrous or any other power adder. You can fly down meet me at the track and I will pencil whip a check for 20k and you bring yours. If there are any power adders other than turbos, I'll give you 20k. If not, you owe me 20k. I've offered this before in PMs and never had any takers.
For those interested, Renntech has been doing lots of R and D on my car for future Biturbo products. The R and D has taken a while but has paid off.

As you know from living on this board, I tried methanol in the standing mile and almost burned my car to the ground. Jealous jerkoffs like to spread nitrous rumors. We were a little surprise as well. Tonight was also the first time we used Hoosier drag radials (275 40 17). By far the best out there. I've tried Nittos, Mickey Thompson and BF Goodrich and they don't come close. Best 60' foot tonight and was actually able to leave the line on boost. A first.
Ran 10.51 last week with a DA of 1400 on a set of Mickey Thompsons that I could not get to work.

No problem. Sorry for being so harsh.
To push this CL to a 10.27 took lots of time and effort by the guys at RENNtech. I got a little aggravated because I don't want their efforts being tainted by a bs rumor.

As to the mods, Renntech has been messaging the tune and airboxes to make more power. In addition, Renntech installed prototype carbon ceramic rotors at all 4 wheels to reduce rotating mass. And last but not least, the transmission was further reinforced and a prototype torque converter installed. All of the items are in the testing phase to determine if they will go into production.
