I was just watching a video on another forum about European Delivery (ED) and was wondering if anyone here has done it for a Mercedes through their dealer?

I was going to do it for an M3 because it seems like an awesome way to get a new vehicle.

So, anyone? I'd appreciate any input. Would love to do a C63 ED.

Guess i understood the question wrong then. Thought he wanted to pick up his car from europe (for whatever reason), but he wants the european version?

To clarify, ED is a program offered by some US dealers to order a US spec vehicle and pick it up in Europe. I don't know if Mercedes offers this for AMG, but I know that BMW does. Again, it's not a European spec'd vehicle, but a US car simply picked up at the respective factory. To answer your question of why I would want to do this is because, simply, one enjoys a great experience of touring the factory and then driving through Europe with the new car.

Sounds good. Affalterbach is a special place. I visited it march 2010. Hope you succeed. Sorry for misunderstanding.
