9500ci -- Any effect on the warranty?
May be a stupid question since no one seems to have posted about running into this, but just to make sure: I'm planning on getting the 9500ci installed on my C63. The work's going to be done by a reputable installer. I just wanted to check to make sure that the wiring, etc. doesn't cause any issues with the factory warranty on the car. Anyone hear of people having problems with future claims?
I understand that even if it did cause an issue, the install would have to be related to the problem the car was having in order for a claim to be denied, but still, I'd rather not have the fight. Thanks.

I can't give a definite answer, but i'm 99% sure that it will not void/affect your warranty. The only way i could see that happening is if your car suffers some big electrical failure that is attributed to the radar detector. And i'm not sure that could even happen.

You will not void the warranty on the car, only the subsystem that you are using for power in the event something horrible goes wrong (and since your only using 12V, unless your detector gets struck by lightning, you should be okay. Also, it will most likely be using the circuit that the lighter adapter plugs use, which generally has nothing else on it between the fuse and the sockets themselves.
As for Jammers, they are ALL illegal, any type of jamming device. This is not a state law either, it is a federal law from the FCC.
