Does anyone service the merc every 15000km or do u do regular oil changes every 5000k. To me 15000km is a lot to carry dirty oil

I do mine once a year as I don't drive my car enough to reach 15 000km within a year... but I agree with you, if I were to drive my car more... I would change the oil every 5 000 to 8 000 km for sure.

Remember you will be likely doing regular oil top ups - as much as 1L every 3000km seems to be considered "average" consumption on the C63 so in the 20000km recommended interval well over half the sump capacity has been "replaced" along the way. I would not be worrying about it

5k miles or every year which ever comes first seems about right. Has MBZ changed the spec for the C63 oil. Last changed they used 0-40w now I heard they are using 5-40w.

I follow MB's 10k mile recommendations. I'm not going to keep this car forever.

I usually change in the 7500-8000 range.

I put about 20K on the car a year.
