Lowest Coilovers?

I have the H&R Coilovers. They claim 1.2 - 2.3” in front and 1.0 - 2.2” in rear. KW claims Lowers Front: .2 - 1.2 inches. Lowers Rear: 0.0 - 1.2 inches. I have my H&R's maxed out, and i can still fit a finger between the fender/quarter and the tire.

Anyone know a way,or kit that goes another .5-1" lower?

I dont track the car. This is purely for asthetics.

I wanted my CLK to be lower as well, and as you know, it comes standard with KW coilovers. With the stock springs that comes with the KW's, I could only lower the car by a little more than 1/2 an inch. I called Evosport and they ordered me new springs that are shorter and 10% stiffer.

Now I could go all the way ..... like in your pic you posted.

I'd call Evosport, or whoever sold you the coilovers, I'm sure there's an option for a shorter/stiffer spring.

EDIT: My new springs are H&R's. I can look for the original box they came in and give you the part number.

Yea sucks park on the road allot in front of my work! And from changing them at the track and stuff I never learn that you can't leave them standing up they always always fall! What's worse is the lug bolts look at those rusty things.. ill be the first to admit the car needs a little tlc of late

I would take SMP's advice and go with shorter springs. Only problem is I don't think H&R sells shorter springs for the coil overs you have so I would assume your only option would be going with a custom spring set.

My coilovers are made by KW, and my shorter springs are made by H&R.

I see,
So H&R makes even lower springs for cars equipped H&R coil overs?

Like I said, it's best to call Evosport. Like them or don't like them, but they really know their stuff, especially when it comes to suspensions.

H&R makes all kinds of springs with different length and stiffness.

Thanks for the clarification.
I agree, Evosport really do know their stuff.

The H&R sport springs are designed to lower you car but still allow you to get a decent street alignment (perhaps with camber bolts in the front). Going to lower coil overs will get the ride height you want but you might be getting into a situation that requires additional suspension components (dog bones etc) to get a decent street alignment. Perhap other board members who have gone lower can share their experience with alignment results. IMHO I think you car looks just fine at the ride height with just the springs. I wouldn't go lower since you don't track the car.

Thanks guys. I cant see how the KW's go lower than the H&R's? Unless the measurements they list are wrong.

I'm going to reach out to Evo, see what they say as far as replacement springs.

Well, spoke with Brad. Seems there are no spring options.

I also have H&R coilovers. This picture was taken the day they were installed, they have settled a little more now. I could go at least another 2cm lower but it already rubs a little when I go over a large dip or bump. I cannot get my hand in between the front wheel and guard. The 20's make it look a little lower also

Yeah, the 20's def help.. Heres how it sits maxed on 19". Id like to get a slight tuck. Maybe if the rims were wider, they would fill the wheel wells better.
