Did you take out your Factory TPMS when you got new wheels?

I'm getting new wheels soon and was wondering did most of you take out the factory TPMS sensors from your factory 18's or 19's when you got aftermarket wheels or did you buy a new set at the dealership?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It seems as thought Canadian models do not have the TPMS in the wheels like American models can anyone verify this.

I bought new sensors from Tire Rack when I bought my new wheel set today. The car won't automatically sense they're there, but the Tire Rack website said there's a procedure you can follow to get the car to accept the new sensors.

Yes, I used my OEM TPMS on the new wheels.

When I got new rims they came with the TPMS already on them. They automatically were detected by my car. No procedure or config needed.

I bought new sensors because I was planning to use my OE wheels for the track and didn't want a tire pressure warning on my cluster all the time I was at the track.

If you're in Canada, you dont need to buy another set of TPMS.. if you're in US, you should buy another set or reuse the OEM.
