C63 Black Series Option Prices at Frankfurt, Ouch.
Credit to Rage2 for these photos of the display at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the only numbers I think we've seen on the options.
Prices are in Euros, but should reflect their $US counterparts closely. For example, the CLS63 and SLS prices in Euros (with VAT) are within ~5% of their $US prices, i.e. 2012 CLS63 base prices are €94k and $97k, 2011 SLS are €177k and $183k (MB pricing does not follow the conversion rate directly since in doesn't take into account VAT, strength of the currency, what the market will accept, etc).
The €115,430 in the press release was the base price.
Here is the option list for the Frankfurt Auto Show car, which is priced at €144,644.50
Using the CLS and SLS as pricing examples, the base price would be $119,122 and the almost fully optioned example in Frankfurt (no backseat) would be $149,272.

Basically, lol. My fully optioned '11 was 84K msrp without ttr. Looks like I'll be keeping mine indefinitely. Maybe get a BS in the FAR future. Can't put the cart before the horse.

I'm not surprised as I suspected it all along that the money will be in the options. Basically everything that was standard on the CLK Black Series is now optional. Some will spec the car with the optional rear seats, which if I recall correctly, is a $2000 option. Since the seats conflict with the aero package, the price will be a little lower.

Thanks for posting, it is definitely a pricey upgrade especially for us in the US as SMP mentioned above, you get loaded with gas guzzler tax plus destination charge on top of the base price so it all adds up to one AWESOME but pricey package.

I thought private lounge posts are supposed to stay in the private lounge?
No worries, I was going to post it here but got sidetracked.

Wonder if it will be able to outrun a ctsv at the ring for that price? Looks like I'll have to grab a clean clk63 BS or a standard P031 sedan. No way is that price justifiable to me. Just my .02.

That will depend on what C63 BS they test. There is going to be quite some difference in lap times between a car equipped with the aero package, track package (most importantly tires ), optional forged wheels and a base car with rear seats.

If you read the C63 BS press release from AMG, you'll see that they released 2 versions, EU and US specific press releases. The EU one details out all the options shown above, while the US one does not.

2013 G63 AMG
sounds about right.
A yeah and a half from now, they'll be on ebay for a more reasonable price with low mileage! That's the right time to buy this car!
But god damn, so expensive for a C-class!
If it drives anything like the CLK black series, it's definitely worth the money.
If it's overpowered and irrational like the SL65 black series, there is a problem.

Very good points. I was really hoping mb would hit this one out of the park with realistic pricing. Can't wait to see final US numbers and some times around the ring. Most importantly owners reviews.

From what I've been told, US/Canada spec cars will be loaded with the EU options, with our only choices being Track/Aero package and rear seat option. We won't be able to pick and choose the options that EU gets to cut costs, it comes with it all.

dayum.. thats way too pricey for c63 haha not really a supercar status in looks and the specs aren't insanely better either.. Overall is an awesome looking car and crazy specs tho, but just not worth 144k IMO lol maybe just 105k for full options : ]

Are you Arnold's friend? I spoke with him a few months ago and he mentioned a friend of his is on the list, and the 3rd is a buddy of mine.
Only Lone Star will be getting the C63 BS, since Hyatt isn't an AMG Performance Center.

Just lists $100k+ for the base price in the docs that I've seen. There's been no confirmation. Not very helpful.

Okay so I am definitely getting the BS. As far as I see it, I wont be able to buy a used one for a while so I might give my dealer a call today to see what can be done to pre order one. Its going to kill of a lot of my inheritance, but to hell with it, I only live once)))LOL (i knw not a wise way to think about it)
