Carbon Trim for 2012 sedan
My car has the Carbon interior trim option. Is the trim surrounding the shift lever supposed to be in Carbon Fiber as well? Mine is just a shiny black piece.

thanks! I was starting to get worried that for some reason that piece was swapped out.

I think it looks better with the piano black trim around the shifter.
But if you want full CF, I'm sure some carbon experts will come up with the gear shifter piece in carbon.

I have the CF trim in my 09. Added the AMG carbon fiber shift knob and glove box trim from formymercedes.com. Great forum vendor.The AMG shift knob has a much better feel to it than the stock flimsy plastic factory piece. Both pieces match the factory trim perfectly.
