Evosport sent the wrong parts
I had placed an order for painted side markers for my 2012 C63, the actual side markers that came to me were for an E63 (longer and slightly narrow). Upon calling them to inform about the mistake, they offered to pick up the parts, and send me new ones with a zero balance invoice (Helps avoid duties on the replacement). I was very impressed with how they have handled the mistake so far, and as long as I get the correct parts in the mail Im sure to order from them again soon.

Awesome. Post some pics as soon as you have them installed.
BTW I got my LSD oil changed today (3100km)
Richmond Hill Mercedes wanted $375 plus taxes (They were booking for 2 weeks in advance)
I got mine done at Mercedes Durham for $220 taxes in! (got an appointment in 2 days)

Hahaha No kidding! Barrie has a really great service department. If you ever have major work to be done or something of concern they would be my first choice. They see lots of AMG vehicles and the scheduling has always been very flexible on their part.

LOL yah it seems like a redundant post, but I just thought it would be a thread to share my experience since this has happened to me before with machine parts and it wasn't handled that well. Give me flack fine but just don't read the thread. Half of these threads can be searched and It might be something to note incase others who were going to order 2012 C63 painted side markers understand they would most likely have gotten the wrong parts as well. Since now that it has been addressed on Evosports end they can allocate the appropriate parts to the corresponding order numbers.

Nice to hear some positive vendor comments, seems to be lots of negatives around here lately.

Glad you said it because I was thinking the same thing yesteday. I guess OP is easy to please. Anyway, this is not the first time I have heard Evo shipping the wrong side marker. Looks like they need a better system to categorize their smaller parts. First, I heard it hear from a C63 member that no longer posts and another is a friend here in Vegas with an E93 M3.

I think their painted sidemarkers are overpriced.. Get ur oem painted at the body shop for half the price in my opinion.

I personally experienced the long wait and the run-around a while back for a part from them. However, they did deliver and the part worked out well. And when I had some questions, and I called them they did not hesitate to help me out and offer good customer service. I would order from them again.

You know, its just as likely that when they sent out a bunch of lenses to get painted that the paint shop which probably hasn't got that much experience could have mixed up the packaging and there could be honest mistakes in stocking parts into the wrong bins. Its happened to many vendors before and doesn't always get caught by a stocking guy who's not familiar with the cars. And if there are orders waiting to be filled when the parts come back, they could be shipped before someone catches it.
Zero mistakes costs money in extra inventory, hiring the right people with the skills and a dozen other things. Then in the end, vendors can't recoup these costs because there's always someone on ebay selling something for $1 profit and customers wonder why they can't find big well managed and financed vendors anywhere.
I'm not trying to stick up for Evosport. But I'm familiar with how THIS particular problem works and what it costs to be mistake free. And spending that money requires a higher price to pay it back.
