Run 8: 11.818 @ 121.53 (DA: -978) 60' - 1.943
Run 9: 11.541 @ 123.18 (DA: -1010) 60' - 1.834
Run 10: 11.592 @ 122.88 (DA: -1010) 60' - 1.869
Run 11: 11.596 @ 122.47 (DA: -1010) 60' - 1.854
Run 12: 11.428 @ 123.92 (DA: -1010) 60' - 1.778(Manual Mode)*
Run 13: 11.423 @ 124.28 (DA: -1108) 60' - 1.784(Manual Mode)*

*All runs were made with traction control OFF and in Sport Mode with the exception of my final two runs of the night.

Awesome DA!!!

Next step is MHP Headers and Mid-pipes and back to Atco for a track rental on Dec. 5th.

Thanks Eric. New headers should be on in about 1 to 2 weeks.

Thanks, I used Nitto drag radials.

Not corrected. DA info was acquired form Dragtimes.com.

I did not use TC this time. I kept lowering rear tire pressure until I found a sweet spot. Got down to about 17psi for the last two runs and they hooked pretty good.

Also, I really nailed the shifts in Manual Mode on the final two runs.

I shifted from 1st gear about 6300 to 6400 rpm. You have to be quick because if you delay you will hit the limiter and the run is ruined.

2nd and 3rd gear was about 6500 and not as quick to rev as 1st gear.

Great runs Mike. Not much difference overall from your best ET even considering the big neg DA. Good baseline of your current setup with the MBH headers. Look forward to see how much the MHP's can improve your times.

Thanks Jim.

I was hoping to improve on the ET considering the DA. I wasn't able to achieve a similar 60' time(1.72) as I did back in May when I ran my personal best. I think a 1.72 last night would have netted me an 11.3 run.

Oh well, I did what I set out to do, which is get some baseline numbers.

Exactly. Even the 11.3 with the better 60 would be explainable by the better DA. I think you have a solid baseline to move forward with the MHP headers and document any improvements. I hope I'm there! You should do it at ATCO so it will be documented on the same track so no one can say the improvements are the different track.

Which Nittos did you use? NT505R, or NT555Rs?
I went all the way down to 21psi on the NT555Rs, but was afraid going any lower than that wouldn't make any difference.

When you got your record run last time, did you already have the LSD then? How much do you figure the LSD helped your 60' times?

I plan on being at the Dec. 5th Atco track rental. I'm hoping for a 40F sunny
day so the sun can bake the track for better traction and the cool air can help make some serious power.

I've been using NT555R's.

Normally I start my rear tire pressures at 20psi and work my way down. Most of the time if track prep is good 20psi is sufficient. Last nights track prep was average so I lowered them to 18psi and finally 17psi. I was going to try 16psi but the track was closing.

I've had the lsd for well over a year. The main reason for an lsd for me was to absolutely make sure both wheels spin during a burnout. dodger63 ran 10's without an lsd so it's not a necessity.

Once the headers and mid pipes, with a better 60' you may be very close to 10s

That's the goal, it's not going to be easy. Everything has to be perfect to run
that number.

Thanks Keith.

I'm hoping for increase in torque and for the torque curve to shift downward from the difference in header design. It would help my 60' times immensely.

Right now I feel the 2" primaries are having a negative effect on my low end torque.

Good runs Mike, congrats

For some reason I thought you were already running the MHP headers and tune, but I just realized you don't have the MHP headers installed yet. Do you know what was your best ET and Trap before and after the MHP tune?
