Question pricing thoughts on this 2011

Taking a look at this one. Not thrilled that they (likely the dealer) didn't think to add bi-xenons on a $70k car. Also would love interior to be gray rather than beige, but at least it seems like a light beige.

Has 13k miles. CPO car.

Dealer is listing it at $59,900

C63 $58,200

197 Obsidian Black $720

205 Sahara Beige/Black AMG Premium Leather

***** OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES *****

07P Germany

318 318 AMG Leather Package: AMG Premium Lea $3,090

320 320 Multimedia Package: 7" Power Retract $3,350

873 Heated Front Seats $750

889 KEYLESS-GO $1,140

SUBTOTAL $67,250

Idk about 2011 models but lots of people including me got great deals for their brand new 2009 and 2010's. There were members getting between 13-18k of the sticker. If I were you I would try to find a left over 2011. Also as you mentioned this car is missing the lighting package which is a big deal for me. Good luck.

Search search search. I had to talk to 10 different dealers before I bought my C63.

I wouldnt touch a car without HID's. And likely in the resale market, no one else will either. Keep that in mind.

Also - apparently the lighting packages are the first to cause delays at the factory, for whatever reason. Was talking to my dealer yesterday about it, he was saying they often can only get cars built WITHOUT the lighting package, or risk waiting an extra 3-4 months for the next build cycle that is guaranteed to have them. So they often get GL's for example loaded at $90k....with no HID's.

13-18 off sticker for new!? That seems insane! I'd love to find some threads where people state what they paid off of sticker. The BMW forums have "new order pricing experiences" child forums that are really helpful for research. I'd love to see MBWorld add something like that. When I was buying my 335, I had cold hard proof of the deals people were negotiating, and my dealer had to bend to meet them. Now, with this c63, I haven't found that concrete backup yet.

Anyway, $18k off new would put a well optioned car in the very low $50k's. Again, seems crazy given that 2009-2011 15-30k mile cars are listed at $50-60k.

As far as the comments regarding the HIDs. Very interesting. I did some research last night on the HID kits ($100ish) and they seem like viable options (I put them in my truck and they made a world of difference), but I understand the housing (swivel with turning) and projection lense itself is also different in the "real" OEM HID option.

So...if I WERE to pursue this car above, what's a good offer??

I got mine in 2009 with a $71k sticker (everything incl PP minus CF) for $53k. Those deals are long gone though, MBUSA was offering $15k trunk money for 09 C63's at the time, so in reality I only got about $3k off from a dealers perspective as MB was paying for the rest.

Dont buy that car man, you clearly state that you prefer a different interior, and not having HID's is a bummer. There are plenty of other options.

$15k trunk money! Good lord! How was that publicized (i.e. we're people in-the-know, or was it plastered on mb.com? Lol "$15k cash back on your rare AMG!")

I agree, this may not be THE car. Each dealer I've talked to (4 of them) acts like I need to jump at these CPO cars because they rarely get them in for trade. I guess that's why I try to mentally say "could I live with this one".

I may go drive it next week when I travel and pass the dealer down in MD, and ask their rock bottom $, just for fun. I'm sure they would t touch $50k though, right?

Related to the above replies, if I DID find a left over 2011, what % off sticker should I expect to negotiate? Seems I'd need 20% off to hit my target budget.

I don't believe there were any trunk money in 2011. So the max you would get is 8-9% off. You might even be able to push them to 10%, but that's a end of the month, take it or leave it offer from the dealership.

I know! Makes me want to stop looking for an 09-11 car. Why should I pay $55k now for two years old and 20k miles when people got them NEW for that back then? Great for those buyers though!
Strange there are no good incentives on the 2011's that are still left over now, vs these incentives that were doled out in July of that year.
Makes me wonder if waiting to look for 2012's in July would be smart? Gamble on the chance of trunk money.

Seems like a decent price, but no multimedia pack? Haven't seen one without that yet. I DO keep finding 2011's with no lighting pack!

I bought my 2010 brand new with everything included except for the p30, sticker was 71k, I got it for 57k with a little bit of negotiating. At that time AMG was giving 5k of sticker and they doubled the offer to 10k of sticker for me when I said I would pay in full for the car, timing is key for these types of deals ive learned

Search Propain's threads. He had a thread about 10k + off Msrp cars. It was a long thread. Don't buy a car you are not 100 percent comfortable with. It's not a shoe or a suit you will spend more than 50k on it.

when i was shopping for my 2012 C63, the dealership that i got my car from offered me $60k for a C63 sedan with S52, lighting pk, lane keeping pk, and keyless go.
So i think your price seems extremely high for a CPO car.
i saved over 8k on my '12 C63 coupe with designo interior, lighting pk, lane tracking pk, keyless go, and mbrace.
send me a pm if interested in 2012 C63 sedan for 60k.
btw, i am in NJ.

Got a question here. When you say you paid 5k off on MSRP, does that mean you paid 5K off MSRP with TAX? or 5k off MSRP + TAX?

Thank you.

Also, are there people who got discounts on new cars? (2012 model)

Hey esatnova, where are you located?

I've been thinking of selling my C63 since I won't be able to drive it for a year since I'm overseas at the moment.

It's a 2011, Palladium Silver, Grey interior, 16k miles with CPO. It doesn't have the performance package but has every other option including LSD and the rearview camera as well.

It's completely stock. I'm thinking low 50's but I haven't had time to see what the market is selling for at the moment.
