What price are y'all seeing for replacement rotors?
The non-p30/p31 one-piece front rotors (Part No. 2044211212) are coming up fairly cheap - $125ish. I recall doing a search a year or two ago and they were much more (4 - 5x) more expensive than current pricing.
Can anyone confirm the correct part number(s) for me?
Thx,
G

WTF!!! I do not think those are chinese knock offs...
FRONT SUSPENSION / FRONT SUSPENSION / BRAKE COMPONENTS / Rotor Rotor W/O 4-MATIC, W/C63, w/o AMG perf pkg Right
MSRP Core ? Online Price $170.00 $0.00 $127.50
That is from https://www.getmercedesparts.com which is actually Mercedes Benz of Annapolis (my MB dealer where I get my parts from)...
The Ceramic ones (I think they are Ceramic) for the c3 with the perf package..

MSRP Core ? Online Price $1,050.00 $0.00 $787.50
The price has seriously dropped... if that is correct.

I picked up new rotors 2 weeks ago from my Official Mercedes dealer and paid 290 Euro per SET! for the front rotors.
Couldnt beleive that they were that cheap, the person behind the counter couldnt believe it either and had double checked it.

The 1 piece OEM stock rotors for our cars used to be close to $900 a piece for a while when purchased from MB, which is why when it came time to replace, many went with aftermarket (even I was looking at Evosport rotors).
However, since the price drop, outside of regular track use, it might just be cheaper to burn out the OEM 1 piece rotors at $150 a pop...

Well someone order these and see if they are genuwine MB. I doubt it.
I don't even think you can just replace the rotor disc on the p30's fom MB. I was quoted for the whole unit...it wasn't cheap either.

What I meant to say in response to the rotors for the CLK63, is that all of the 63 series vehicles use the same parts, whether it is the perf package with the 2 piece rotors, or the standard AMG rotors. Whichever package you have, would have the same rotors correct, so a non PP CK63 should have the same rotors as the C63, which means buying the cheaper ones should be okay.
Or am I completely wrong and the range uses different brakes (package options aside)....

I am not doubting the price right now but I have my reservations to believe it. The rotors for our cars should cost a whole lot more unless those rotors that the OP refers are made in China.

Or, economics of scale. There are significantly more vehicles with the AMG (rebranded Brembos??) Brake system now. Honestly, rotors should be cheap, they are cast molded and cost little to produce, and are not an exotic material.

1. Keeps the heat out of the hub saving the bearings.
2. Results in a higher temp on the working part of the rotor which means it will actually shed energy faster.
Wow, just checked out my one peice rear rotors at http://www.oediscountparts.com $87.75 each.
For 2008 C63 front one piece rotors were $127.50 and the rears were $201??
By the way, the two peice front were $787.50

Yeah - I've seen the rears for my '09 (non-pp) be more than the fronts. I also checked and my fronts are drilled only (just like the non-pp pic above), the rears drilled and slotted - could this be part of the price difference? I bought the car with 25k kms on it and the fronts look like they have normal wear on them (i.e. not replaced) - is this the stock way for them to come - fr=drilled, rr = drilled / slotted??
