Wheel Help?
Hey guys, new on the site and just got a C63. I want to get 19" VMR 718's with Eibach Pro Kit springs which i believe lower the car 1.3 inches if i remember correctly. My question is what wheel and tire size will i need to get if I want to run the 19's? Is fender rolling necessary? Thanks
edit: I meant the H&R sport springs which basically is the same difference in ride height. So same question, different springs

Look at my sig as example... no rubbing so no rolling fenders necessary if you have the right offset.
BTW, my 19x8.5 have +45mm offset & my 19x10 have +53mm offset. Hope this help!

19's on H&R springs. Tires are 235/35/19f & 275/30/19r but i would recommend 265/30/19 to avoid rubbing if you don't have a high offset enough in the rear.

If I'm keeping stock rims (19x9 multispoke), can I get away with 10mm spacers in addition to the H&R springs?
I really want to make the rears look a bit more aggressive without changing the fronts at all. I'm hoping spacers and maybe 265/275 will do the trick.

^^ can u provide us with the OEM 19's offset? U will have to substract 10mm from that offset for the spacer. I have the feeling it will rub with 275, and maybe even with 265. U might have to go stretch witb 255 unless u want to roll or shave the fenders.

BTW, i do have H&R sports spring but i'm using the thicker spring pads (not oem) to raise the rear a bit. I find the drop to be more even with the front now.

Do you have H&R's sport springs? Their website lists them as lowering the car by 0.75 in both the front and rear.

^^ i agree you should be fine since the OEM are 19x9 +54mm - 10mm spacers= 44mm. I would go 265/30/19 to be safe though with ur H&R drop.

Just for reference, Roswell's set up of 19x10 ET53 with 275's and no reported rubbing, is equivalent to an OEM wheel with 14mm spacer. If he doesn't rub, your 10mm spacers should work fine with 275's by comparison. It's not just offset that determines rubbing, it's also wheel width. You can see that his setup is 4mm more aggressive than what you want to do. Use this link: http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

In the US, stock rims are 18x9. So I'm assuming you ordered the 19x9's after receiving the car. If so, those OEM 19x9's have the same offset as the 18's, which is 54 in the rear. If u put 10mm spacers, you will be fine with 265's or 275's. If you lower the car, the 275's MAY rub, depending on the brand of tire, because some tires run wider than others. You will find forum members with wheel/offset scenarios that equal 10 mm outward extension, lowered, and no rubbing...even with 275's.
Yes, its a narrower rim so I agree it should work fine. I would either put more advan's or PSS's on it.
Any suggestions on spacer brands? I've searched and a few sponsors offer some, but they look almost like generic brands.

This offset will be perfect for our cars (considering u go 19x8.5f & 19x9.5r).. U can even squeeze a 275/30 with that set-up. But as Jeff mention, make sure the company makes our bolt pattern.

Highest offset in 19 front & rear is 45. Good for the front but a little aggressive for the rear on a C63. If you want 50 on the rear you have to go for 18".

^^ 19x9 will work better with +45mm ... 19x9.5 will work better with +50mm... VMR wheels 19x9.5 with +45mm will be very aggressive. Very big chance of rubbing with H&R springs, unless u use stretched tires.

8.5" et45 front (will extend 6mm more then stock) 245/35/19 tire
9" et45 rear (will extend 9mm more then stock) 265/330/19 tire
Unfortunately, unless you want to go very aggressive, it is hard to find a 9.5 or 10" wheel a that will work in the back.
The setup I ordered will be more agressive than stock, but not excessively aggressive.
