NAV/Sirius questions
Has anyone tried to upgrade their navigation software? Can you get traffic instead of subscribing to SiriusXM Traffic? I'm just wondering what that entails and how much it might cost to see if it's worthwhile at all. I'm guessing it should be easier with the HD onboard, but I don't have much experience with these devices.
Thanks.
Thanks.

That's what I'm trying to weigh. Some people are less than thrilled with Sirius Traffic and since I'm on a trial right now, I would need to pay $100 to go with a full plan + traffic since there's no traffic add-on to the free trial. So I think that's a steep gamble for something that may suck.

Yes, using a thumb drive, with the cable that came with the MIP. Basically, it just tells the COMAND, that it has an additionable functions.
