Yes, the DREADED tire QUESTIONS for a C63
Hello Friends,
I know there are several threads about tires and the C63...
I now have 1000 miles, and I was just wondering if anyone can give me a rough ball park estimate of how many miles I should expect to get out of my tires?
(I'm not a crazy aggressive driver, no burnouts, drifting, tracks... I have a little fun here and there by punching it on the highways or open roads, but that's about it.)
Also, when I DO have to get new tires, should I expect to change the fronts as well?
I am just asking because I have never had this "worry" with my former Z4M Roadster (15K miles) and my E92 M3 (13K miles).
Thanks for any input (or wise guy cracks on me.. all good)

I'm still on my first set of tires so I can't tell you how long they will roughly last.... but typically on high HP RWD cars it's 2 sets of rears for one set of fronts.

If I can get 8-10,000km on soft winter tires then you should be able to get at least that with decent summer tires unless you are smoking them all the time.

I'm on my 6th set at 17k miles. That's a set at every 2,800 miles +/-.
I drove pretty hard on the previous set of tires I had, but my current set of Michelins have great tread wear.
Sets I went through
-Pzeros (rears only)
-Hankooks EVO V12's (2 sets for rears, one set for all 4 corners)
-Falken RT-615 (rears only)
-Michelin Super Sport (all 4 corners)

I had the Michelins since last year with hard driving + 2 track days and there is 20% left on the rear so 10K on the Michelins
I'm getting new wheels and set of PSS next month

I was running a tune (510hp), also never driving with ESP on... I always turn that junk off, force of habit now.. Driving habits are pretty aggressive too, so add those all up and you get 5000km a set

I've just changed over to Michelin Super Sports from Conti Sport 3's and I did 7000 miles on them and they were just approaching the legal limit.
I'm not sure if the performance pack with the extra 30HP increases tyre wear.
