how do you get the license plate trim off so I can get to install the ijdmtoy license plate leds?

I did unscrew the 2 screws inside and the 2 screws outside, and i still cant get to pull the trim because its still tight! I read that we have to take off the yellow plastic pins inside but how are we supposed to do that

any help?

the website doesnt help much i dont know what to do after unscrewing the 4 screw (2 inside, 2 outside)
