There is an Ipod kit or you can use the card slot, you down load your MP3 files to a SD card and plug it into slot on the command but you'll need a PC adaptor card. San Disk sells one for about $25. The O9 command does not show Ipod information on the nav screen or use the command control ****. You have to use the steering wheel buttons which is a PIA. If you use a PC card you can get song title etc on the Nav screen and control it with the command ****. The 10 command does show the ipod on the nav screen but it is no soft/hardware upgrade for the pre 10 cars.

It is based on the folder structure.
The PCMCIA slot is right under the volume **** on the command system. I'm using a PCMCIA to CF adapter. The more mp3's you have stored on it the longer it takes to load after starting the car. Also you can burn mp3's to DVD-R's and put them into the cd changer. I have 6 dvd's with mp3's and a 16gig memory card in my car. |

the CF is read just like any file system on a computer. You can create folders/directories and store your MP3's there to sort them. |
