Bed the brakes (10 hard stops in a row from highway speed) and give it time. Mine went away after a few thousand miles.

This. Are they new? You should try to do this from about 60 to 0. That's the proper way to break in new brakes or it'll get rid of whatever brake dust that's causing the noise.

No the brakes aren't new. It wasn't doing that noise when I first got the car. Maybe it did, but it wasn't that loud. It actually goes away and then comes back... Very frustrating. I will use the RS4 pads next time I need a brake job, but for now I need to find another solution. I'll try to do few 60-0 and see if that helps.

I don't think you actually come to a stop. Just come to a 5 to 10 mph roll then back up to 60.

Well, in the future, make sure you do this with any set of new brakes. I've been told by a couple of people that it's necessary.

Exactly right...DO NOT STOP.....and when ya've finished the exercise, drive around for 10 minutes or so to allow everything to cool down properly.
Cheers, Pickles.

Could just be brake dust. When i got mine, it was making a squeeking noise while stopping and taking off and someone on another thread recommended meguiars all wheel cleaner. Ever since i started using it, the noise went away
