UPDATE
Took the car to the dealeship.
They confirm that the fuel rail pressure sensor is broken.
Currently in default mode which means it is running constant
5 bar pressure.
This error has been here for almost a year.
What would constant bar pressure affect?

The engine might be running a little rich. The injectors will be expecting a certain amount of msec open time at x pressure and getting the same time at 5 bar (72.5 psi). This might force more fuel through the injector in the allotted open time of the injector. Since the pressure sensor is broken it defaults to max pressure so as not to create a lean situation and potential detonation. It doesn't sound like it has a major impact on the tune or you would probably know it from sluggish performance, lots of black smoke out the tail pipe or really black and fuzzy tips. Ours already seem to be black enough as it is. It is the fuel pressure that determines how much fuel is pushed through an injector for any given amount of time that it is open.

Thanks for that info.
I thought that the fuel pressure might have a taken a bit on strain running those pressure for so long but the technician at the dealership said that the pump is rated for 8 bar so it should be fine.
I habe noticed a lot of black an the tail pipes an the car has been extremely heavy on gas.

Sorry to raise a dead thread.. Anyways, I just got the same problem, except I am having the opposite effect (at least if you believe the mileage gauge), my regular commute puts me around 20 to 22mpg, this morning it showed 24 and some change.
